Who we are
Jonathan Morris (Project Director) is Research Professor in Modern European History at the University of Hertfordshire. His publications include The Political Economy of Shopkeeping in Milan 1886-1922 (1993) and The New History of the Italian South (1997).
He is Editor of the journal Contemporary European History, and co-founder and convenor of the seminar in Modern Italian History at the Institute of Historical Research http://www.history.ac.uk/ihrseminars/modital.html
Claudia Baldoli (Research Assistant) is the author of Bissolati immaginario. Le origini del fascismo cremonese dal socialismo riformista allo squadrismo (2002) and Exporting Fascism. Italian Fascists and Britain's Italians in the 1930s (2003). She has now been appointed Lecturer in Modern European History at the University of Newcastle.
